Jetlagged Orientation Day

I am meeting the other people on my program downstairs in 5 minutes so I will just say that the facility is beautiful and much more grand than I ever imagined. I was expecting a small shoe-sized room down a long hall from a public toilet, but we have large, furnished complete apartments, and a Palestinian man cooks us lunch every day and leaves giant bowls of leftovers to eat whenever.

I am currently short on time but also beaten up by the flights and not sleeping. But everything here is very aesthetically pleasing and the buildings are a light brick and the sun has already baked my skin. There is a lovely view attached.

Class starts tomorrow, and there is just a rush of new experiences bearing down on me, along with the Jordanian sun.

Sallaam for now!
